Lemon essential oils have great antiseptic properties, ideal if you are creating soap for harder working hands that come into contact with fish or meat, or an obvious choice to use for anyone who loves gardening.

If you start to buy or even make your own Soap Gifts, choosing essential oils that are complimentary will be one of your first choices.
We prefer to buy the finest and make blends but you may simply prefer a Soap Gift that is purely made of Lavender or Rose.
Rose is one of the gentlest you can use in any Handmade Soap and can help with Rosacea as it helps build capillary walls and is a very soothing soap to use daily if you are prone to irritation.
It can look really pretty too, a Soap Gift doesn't have to be square they can be any shape you have a mould handy to use.

Soap Roses have become a very popular Soap Gift, they are more difficult to make as we have to assemble every petal to form a beautiful SLS Free Soap Rose.

Many people use them as bathroom decoration as they release a wonderful fragrance from the soap. The soap Roses are used in a fun way different to normal soap. To use simply pluck a petal from the flower and use for two or three washes until all the soap is disolved.

There are an average of 18 petals for each Rose so you can see that these Roses make wonderful gifts that last and look much prettier than the usual Handmade soaps.

Shaving Soap is a fantastic Soap Gift to give and receive. Handmade Shaving Soap is packed with wonderful emmolients for a easier creamy glide and smoother shave.

Our Shaving soap has a refreshing Lemon and Cedarwood smell, which leaves the skin beautifully fragranced in a scent that is both cool and masculine.

This the scent is derived for pure essential oils which we combne for a rich, moisturising wet shave and softer skin.

Soap Gifts can also be great for guys, it really depends on the essential oils. One favourite Handmade Soap for men uses natural peppermint and a thin layer of Pummice.

The Pummice is a fantastic exfoliant, great for men's faces and guy's bodies generally. It really gets to work to give active, healthy skin and men love the peppermint oils as they feel extra fresh and cooling.
